Given that things around here are generally pretty far from what you'd call normal - or even predictable - Captain Okita and I wanted to propose a sort of... emergency patrol roster, I guess you could call it. Basically, if you're interested in helping to keep an eye out for trouble whenever things get a little crazy around here, I'm asking you to let me know so we can put you on the list. Okita will be in charge of the schedule, but it'll be flexible. The idea here is to put people where they're best and where they're needed most in an emergency, not to punish anyone or make them pull a duty they don't want. I know a lot of people here know how to handle trouble and having a roster might help us stay more organized. [He smiles wryly.] God knows we can at least try.

Wardens are automatically welcome, but seeing as all of us have to live here on the Barge and danger doesn't really differentiate, I'd like to open this up to inmates, too. You'll need to stick with a warden, which is fine because I'd prefer everyone patrol in pairs, anyway. If you've got a warden, I'd like to make sure it's okay with them; if you don't have one, we'll work something out.
