Bucky laughed, "I'm sure." He fell silent, listening to Steve breathing. He angled his head so he could hear Steve's heartbeat but kept his eyes on the glass.

"We ain't going to get in trouble for being so close, right?" He had this brief notion that things had changed, that men were now allowed to be physically close. He wasn't sure why that would be, but it might be. It had been 70 years.
